Often a person will receive therapy/treatment and realize that during their recovery they want to “give back” and it this then becomes a career of choice; helping others to help themselves. Vertex Training Center encourages anyone seeking to be a part of the human service field to do so. It is rewarding and provides a structure that those in recovery find helpful.
Vertex Training Program provides a pathway to become credential or to renew certification as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. We also provide classroom instruction and guidance to become a Certified Prevention Professional (CPP).

Our Mission
Update
Vertex Training Center was created, to provide opportunities to explore training and employment in the addictions field. We welcome non-professionals, paraprofessionals or professionals from various fields, such law enforcement, social work, psychology, nursing, or any of the various social and health fields.
The addictions courses in Substance Abuse Counseling, once completed, can lead to a certification, license, or both, including renewals to practice as an Alcohol & Addictions Counselor. Additional requirements such as level of education and experience, and the specific State/governing board of addictions’ regulations and IC&RC examination as part of the overall requirements.
VTC proudly supports clients become healthier and ready to reintegrate back into their lives. Clients who have taken the necessary steps to reflect and understand the recovery process, and how personal experience can help someone else, as this may be the first step to a life-long change, and stability during personal recovery.
